Saint Patrick's Day

Practice was a mess, and i think my period decided to visit me during the middle of it. So i left early, using the excuse that i felt like crap and needed to do my pysch notes, when really i was going insane because it seemed like NO ONE on that field knew how to catch a ball with two hands, hit a cut-off, throw, etc. I mean i was off too, because i really do feel like crap and i was out of it. But i left, then i drove around my neighborhood for 10 minutes and listened to music in order to calm down. One song in particular, Saint Patrick's Day, by the god of Music, John Mayer, came on and i felt instantly better after it ended. It took my mind off of all the shittiness i had just experienced, and on to something, or someone, rather, and i smiled. I decided to make a blog to post lyrics of songs i like, write about how songs make me feel, etc., because i would probably go insane without music. It's something i get and i think it's one of those things that people NEED to appreciate. So, here goes:

Here, comes the cold.
Break out the winter clothes
And find a love to call your own.

You...enter you.
Your cheeks a shade of pink
And the rest of you in powder blue.

Who knows, what will be?
But I'll make you this guarantee...

No way November will see our goodbyes
When it comes to December it's obvious why
No one wants to be alone at Christmas time

In the dark, on the phone,
You tell me the names of your brothers
And your favorite colors...I'm learning you.

And when, it snows again
We'll take a walk outside
And search the sky, like children do (I'll say to you..)

No way November will see our goodbyes
When it comes to December it's obvious why.
No one wants to be alone at Chrismas time.
Come January, we're frozen inside.
Making new resolutions a hundred times
February won't you be my valentine?
And we'll both be safe till St. Patrick's day.

We should take a ride tonight around the town
And look around at all the beautiful houses.
Something in the way the blue light's on the black night
Can make you feel more

Everybody it seems to be,
Just wants to be, just like you and me

No one wants to be alone at Christmas time
Come January we're frozen inside
Making new resolutions a hundred times.
February won't you be my valentine?

And if our always is all that we gave
And we someday, take that away
I'll be alright...if it was just till St. Patrick's Day.

I think i might take that into Share The Music in chorus.
